1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Social Rocket AI, including socialrocketai.com, the web app at app.socialrocketai.com, our iOS and Android apps, and related services (together, the “Service”). “Social Rocket AI”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the provider of the Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Social Rocket AI helps you create, adapt, schedule, and publish social media content. Features include AI content and image generation, AI image editing, video reframing, a media library, a content calendar, scheduling and multi-platform publishing, pre-publish checks, publishing status, team and client approval workflows, agency workspaces, and website uptime and SSL monitoring. Available features and limits depend on your plan, as shown on our pricing page.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if we have previously terminated your account for violating these Terms.

4. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • If you invite team members or customers to a workspace, you are responsible for their use of it and for giving them the right level of access.

5. Connected social platforms

The Service connects to third-party social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, TikTok Business, YouTube, and Bluesky, through their official APIs. When you connect an account:

  • You confirm that you own the account or are authorized to manage it and publish to it, including any client or employer accounts you connect.
  • You authorize us to access the account within the permissions you grant and to act on your instructions, such as publishing or scheduling posts.
  • You remain responsible for complying with each platform’s terms, community guidelines, and advertising or branded-content rules.
  • You can revoke our access at any time from the platform’s settings, or ask us to disconnect the account. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

Social Rocket AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms. Platforms control their APIs and may change features, permissions, rate limits, or content rules, or restrict access, at any time. As a result, some features may change or become unavailable for certain platforms or account types, and we are not responsible for a platform’s actions or availability.

By connecting a YouTube channel, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Publishing and scheduling

You decide what is published, where, and when. Content you schedule or approve is published to the destinations you select as you instructed. Please review posts, including AI-generated text and images, before scheduling them.

We work to publish on time, but publishing depends on the platforms and on factors outside our control, such as API outages, expired or revoked permissions, rate limits, or content that a platform rejects. Check the publishing status in your dashboard. If you disconnect an account, cancel your subscription, or reach a plan limit, scheduled posts for the affected accounts may not be published.

7. AI features

AI features generate content based on your prompts, brand descriptions, and media. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content generated for others, and it is not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing AI output and for how you use it, including making sure it is accurate, appropriate, and does not infringe anyone’s rights.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images, videos, and other material you upload or create through the Service (“Your Content”), including AI output you generate, to the extent the law allows. We do not claim ownership of Your Content or of your social media accounts.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example, resize, reformat, or reframe), and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service for you, including publishing it to the platforms you select. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies already published at your direction, residual backup copies kept for a limited time, and copies we must keep by law.

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for Your Content, including consent from people who appear in it, and that Your Content and its use through the Service do not violate any law or anyone’s rights.

9. Acceptable use and prohibited activities

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break any law or regulation, or encourage others to do so.
  • Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Create, store, or share any content that sexualizes or endangers minors. We have zero tolerance for this, as described in our Child Safety Standards.
  • Send spam, manipulate platforms (for example, fake engagement, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or artificially inflated metrics), or otherwise violate a platform’s rules.
  • Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with them.
  • Publish to accounts you are not authorized to manage.
  • Upload malware, probe or interfere with the Service’s security, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape the Service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or access it through automated means we have not authorized.
  • Get around plan limits, credits, or fair-use controls, including by creating multiple accounts to repeat free plans or trials.
  • Monitor websites you do not own or are not authorized to monitor.
  • Resell or provide the Service to others unless a plan or written agreement allows it.

10. Plan limits, credits, and fair use

Each plan includes limits, such as the number of connected platforms, posts per platform, AI content, tag, and image credits, agency customers, and website monitors, as shown on our pricing page. AI features include monthly allowances and daily fair-use guardrails that protect the Service for everyone. If usage goes beyond your plan’s limits or places an unreasonable load on the Service, we may limit or pause the affected features and will let you know where practical.

11. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Plans. We offer a free plan and paid subscription plans. Current prices and features are shown on our pricing page.
  • Payments. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. You authorize charges to your payment method for your subscription and any applicable taxes.
  • Free trials. Where a paid plan includes a free trial, the trial terms shown at sign-up apply, including what happens when the trial ends.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you need help cancelling, contact us at [email protected].
  • Billing questions. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected]. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under applicable law.
  • Price changes. Prices may change. Current prices are always shown on our pricing page.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (but not Your Content), is owned by Social Rocket AI and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

13. Third-party services

The Service works with third-party services, such as social platforms, Stripe for payments, and other providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content.

14. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may carry out maintenance, and we may add, change, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the paid features you rely on, we will tell you in advance where practical.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, cancel your subscription, and ask us to delete your account by following our Data Deletion Instructions.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, if your use creates a risk or legal exposure for us, our users, or the platforms we integrate with, if a platform requires it, if payment fails, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem. After termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on Your Content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

16. Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including data from connected social accounts. If you use the Service to process other people’s personal information (for example, client or customer data), you are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required notices or consents.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service, AI output, or publishing will meet your requirements, be accurate, or achieve any particular result, such as reach, engagement, or follower growth.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Rocket AI and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Social Rocket AI and its team from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including a social platform’s terms.

20. Resolving disputes

If you have a concern about the Service, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give additional notice, such as an email or an in-app message, before the changes take effect. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

22. General

These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
